FAQ

No, our mushies like darkness half of the day, and light the other half of the day. Just like if they were growing under a tree canopy. As long as they are away from direct sunlight, they will thrive!

Inside your kit box is a living organism called mushroom mycelium, we recommend opening it upon purchase. If you’re not ready to use it, keep your Mini Farm in the fridge for up to 6 weeks. If you store it too long, they may start fruiting inside of the box.

Anywhere indoors, away from direct sunlight. Try to avoid the laundry if you use a drier often, or a bathroom where you have hot showers. Hot steam is not good for your Mini Farm.

We guarantee at least one crop of mushrooms when following our  instructions. But it’s likely you’ll get a second, third and even fourth crop with care and patience.

Expect around 200g to 300g on your first crop (remember, mushrooms are light so volume is high). Following flushes are likely to be smaller and smaller until the mushroom mycelium runs out of energy.

To harvest, reach your hand between the mushroom cluster and the box, twist and pull just enough to separate the mushrooms from the box. You can also cut them off carefully with a sharp knife.

You might have a few baby mushrooms left, remove them all. You can then start spraying again for a another crop.
