Description

The FunGuy WA CO2 bags are a naturally, cheaper and easier way to supply CO2 to your plants in a hydroponic tent or greenhouse.
\nJust place a CO2 above your plants and let it do the work for you! No need to use expensive generators, regulators, monitors.
\n
\nThe FunGuy WA CO2 bags are locally produced in Perth, cutting shipping time compared to overseas or interstate options. This means you get a fresher product, capturing the benefits of CO2 production earlier in the fungi’s life.
\n
\nIf you own a store and want to stock The FunGuy WA products, sourcing local produce also means a longer shelf life in prime conditions.
\n
\nThe FunGuy WA uses a specific fungi strain and a special formulated organic substrate, providing vigorous growth to produce a lot of CO2 and a low fruiting rate, lasting longer producing CO2.
\n
\nHow does it work? As the fungi inside the CO2 bag grows, it naturally absorbs Oxygen and produces Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Being an opposite gas exchange to plants, they make a perfect companion. CO2 will be available to your plants through a gas exchange filter attached to the bag.
\n
\nInstructions? Just place The FunGuy WA CO2 bag above your plants height in a greenhouse or hydroponic tent. CO2 is heavier than air under the same temperature/pressure and will be available for plants below. By having air moving within your grow tent will help avoid CO2 being stagnated in the bottom of your grow room.
\n
\nHow long does it last? Our CO2 bags will last up to 6 months but it is recommended to intercalate, introducing a fresh CO2 bag every 3-4 months to bust up CO2. (Eg, start with 1 bag, in 3 months time add a fresh one, in 6 months time, replace your first bag with a new one.)
\n
\nThe FunGuy WA CO2 bags can vary from brown to white. They start off brown and turn white as the Mycelium colonizes the substrate content. This is completely normal

FAQ

No, most gourmet mushies like darkness half of the day, and dim light the other half of the day. Just like if they were growing under a tree canopy. As long as they are away from direct sunlight they will thrive!

Inside your kit box is a living organism, we recommend opening it upon purchase.

If you’re not ready to use it, keep your Mini Farm in the fridge for up to 6 weeks.

All of the strains we sell are vigorous, so after storing for a few weeks they may start fruiting inside the box! Strains like Lion’s Mane and Pink oysters are known for premature pinning (they sometimes start fruiting before the box is opened.)
Do not put Pink Oysters & Yellow Oysters in the fridge. Being a tropical strain, it doesn’t like the cold “brrrr” 🥶🥶

Anywhere away from direct sunlight, such as a kitchen counter or an office room.

Look for a cooler corner in your house, it’s always better to be on the cooler side than the warmer side of the recommended temperature range.

We recommend growing inside as temperatures and humidity don’t fluctuate as much.

We guarantee at least one crop of mushrooms when following our  instructions. But it’s likely you’ll get a second, third and even fourth crop with care and patience.

In terms of yields, expect about 200g to 300g on your first crop of Oysters (remember, mushrooms are light so volume is high).

Following flushes are likely to be smaller and smaller until the block runs out of energy.

To harvest, reach your hand between the mushroom cluster and the box, twist and pull just enough to break the cluster off the block. You can also cut them off carefully with a sharp knife.

You might have a few baby mushrooms left on the box, remove them all before you start spraying again for a another crop.
